Questions

Is there a free plan?
Yes — Developer is free forever: one real program, production keys, the agent, up to 250 active members a month. When your trial ends you land there automatically with your data intact.
What counts as an active member?
A person your program did something for this month — earned, redeemed, progressed, played, or was updated by a rule. Members who didn’t engage are free, and importing a list costs nothing.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Sign-up starts a 30-day trial of Growth on shared infrastructure. Add a card when you pick a paid plan — or stay on Developer for free.
How is overage billed?
Monthly, in arrears, on the same invoice as your plan fee. Rates step down as volume grows and you never pay more for growing — the calculator above shows the exact bill.
Can I move between plans?
Yes, in-app, at any time. Changes are prorated. Rails tells you when a different plan would be cheaper for your volume.
Are events or API calls limited?
They are fair-use, not billed. Send every event you have — the agent is better with more signal. If a program is far outside normal patterns we’ll talk to you before anything is throttled.
Is there annual billing?
Shortly after launch: pay for ten months, get twelve. Usage stays monthly.
What is Dedicated?
Scale on an isolated stack — rails-managed today, in your cloud of choice as providers come online — with custom volumes, contracts, and support. Sold with a conversation.
What happens if I cancel?
Your workspace becomes read-only for 60 days so you can export, then it’s deleted. Re-subscribe any time before then and everything is back.
